Welcome Stranger! 

Why this blog? Why write at all? To be honest its not a thing I thought I'd do. I've always been an individual devoted to scientific discovery, and not the humanities. The current state of the humanities in the University is so depraved, and so devoid of anything substantial I had viewed the "subjective" matters in academia a lost cause. Rationality, that was the key! Perhaps this may have been a successful tack for me, if I weren't as I am so inquisitive. After all were reason my god, (or perhaps goddess), I would have to choose between ignoring the origins of beauty, meaning, and purpose, and the 99% of my brain that is not governed by rationality, or be entirely lost, thrown on a vast sea with no sun, no compass, and no sail to harness the winds of heaven. Mankind is driven by these winds, some finding them stronger than others, and some blown in different directions in their own view, but none may pass through the world entirely untouched by them. This blog is a personal journey through a universal trail, and I invite you to follow along, share your own views from your own mountains and valleys, and perhaps together we can re-blaze
